I became interested in National Parks ever since I was six years old. I took a trip to Alaska with my family where we visted many beautiful places including Denali. I went on to visit Glacier, Acadia, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Zion, Canyonlands, and many others throughout my family vacations. Seeing these places has instilled something in me that I will carry for the rest of my life. The earth is a magical and mysterious thing that we are apart of. John Muir thought the same way and went to many lengths to show this. "Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
